This song has no business coming out in the winter. It’s cloudy here in Pasadena and all I should be doing is listening to Bon Iver or the Tallest Man on Earth. But instead, this new band Princeton has decided to be cruel and make me yearn for summer. Although I just realized I really shouldn’t be complaining since I’ll be in the southern hemisphere by this time next week, in the throes of summer. Anyway, Princeton has created an infectious track, with piano and keyboard lines leading the way, horn and string ornaments throughout, and references to the great state of Florida. Maybe if Newt had used the tune on the campaign trail over there, he would have done better last week.
